HERE’S THE SCOOP…
STEVE LAMANTINI IS 'THE PROFESSIONAL SON'
Where do we begin with the love we have for Steve Lamantini?! This guy is the REAL DEAL, the BEST OF THE BEST, the ONE YOU WANT ON YOUR SIDE. Steve worked as a Norwich Police Officer for 22 years before retiring as a Training Sergeant in 2016. While working there, his dad was diagnosed with dementia. Steve struggled to find the right care and came up with the idea for Lions Share Family Services: A concierge-based companion care service. He offers HOME CARE (meals, household chores, household issues such as cable/phone/utility, appointments), COMMUNITY BASED ACTIVITIES (church, fairs, political events, school events, group exercise classes, spa days, self care, lunch), TRAVEL (vacations, trips to NYC/Boston, casinos, overnight stays, vacation home prep, getting to and from vacation homes), TRANSPORTATION (grocery shopping, doctors visits, general errands, dry cleaning pickup, wedding day assistance), and more. His tagline says it all - You do what you can and we'll take care of the Lions Share. People who hire him consider him family and when you meet him, you will see why. A little background: Growing up, Steve's mom was diagnosed with cancer. She died when he was just 15 years old and you can tell how much this has shaped how he lives and what he does. He says he wakes up every day and tries to make his parents proud. Steve now lives in Glastonbury with his girlfriend and her special needs daughter who he absolutely ADORES! He also has a stepson whom he considers his own and vice versa. We could go on and on and on, but we think you should take a few minutes to watch the video on his website HERE to see what we mean. Or, if you're ready after reading this, call him to chat about your needs: 860.836.6531.

*We know it's early but get cracking on your summer plans for the kids, people! Summer Coding Camps are now posted online for The Glastonbury Coder School for ages 7 to 18. They offer multiple topics and platforms including Robotics, Lego, Roblox, Python, 3D Printing, Virtual Reality, Minecraft and more. *For the fans of this southern fave: Raising Cane's is coming to Wethersfield. The fast-food fried chicken restaurant will take over the old Denny's building. They hope to be open by the end of 2025 or start of 2026...so be patient! This is part of the chain's expansion into Connecticut. They are also opening a location in Enfield.
*And...Sally's Apizza in Wethersfield is expected to OPEN THIS SPRING. It's been a long (and tortuous) wait for Sally's fans, but it appears we can see the light! We have been told it will be the next Sally's location to open (before Westfarms), so this is excellent news and we will get you the exact date as soon as we know!
