SWAN INTEGRATIVE TAKING NEW PATIENTS...PLUS, SO MUCH NEW SCOOP!

HERE’S THE SCOOP…

SWAN INTEGRATIVE GROWING AND ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

Swan Integrative is a functional/integrative medicine practice whose mission is to guide and inspire individuals to discover the root cause of their symptoms so they can heal from the inside out. With the addition of their newest clinician, they are accepting new patients again. Maura Aaberg is a seasoned nurse practitioner and midwife with over a decade of experience caring for women. Her focus is integrative/holistic women’s healthcare including gentle gynecological care, thyroid health, hormone management (PMS, PCOS, fertility concerns, perimenopause/menopause), mind/mood concerns, gut health and more. While Maura is not accepting patients as a primary care provider, the care that she provides can serve as a compliment to the care provided by your PCP - at Swan Integrative they spend extra time hearing your story, looking at you as a whole person, and putting together the pieces to help you feel complete. Maura is enrolled with most major insurance companies. Call 860.325.2679 or email info@swanintegrative.com to join.

WHILE WE WERE AWAY...SO MUCH SCOOP!

*Jordan's Furniture is taking over the old Lord and Taylor space at Westfarms. They have a giant renovation in store so might be some time before it's open.

*Sliceworks Pizza will open at the end of this month in the old Harry's Pizza space on New London Turnpike. They are currently HIRING and have a very unique and impressive concept. If you want more information about a job, email Shannon sliceworksglastonbury@gmail.com

*The Chowder Pot in Hartford will CLOSE at the end of March. The beloved restaurant made the announcement last week on Facebook. There are plans for the building to become a dispensary. Stay tuned!

*Speaking of that...did you know the 18-month moratorium on cannabis legislation expires on March 1st of this year? The Town of Glastonbury can either enact regulations on or prohibit cannabis establishments. They also have the option to revisit the issue. There will need to be a public hearing. Should be interesting...stay tuned.

*Oxford Cleaners is going out of business. Their close down date was January 1st, but they appear to be open so that people can continue to pick up their clothes. Get there!

*Saybrook Home is hoping to open by the end of this month pending all town approvals. Check back with us for details on the GRAND OPENING event because the giveaways are insane!

ODDS & ENDS...

*The owners of Tree House Brewery in Massachusetts recently launched their new operation in Connecticut...Tree House Woodstock. Their jam is cider and it's BY RESERVATION ONLY. They open THIS SPRING Thursday through Sunday and you MUST SIGN-UP to go. Click HERE for all the details.

*Do you remember the Golden Lamb Buttery in Brooklyn? We never had the chance to go, but heard it was unreal. Well, now there is a new restaurant that recently opened there called Chef's Table at Little Dipper Farm. They are sourcing most of the produce from the farm calling the menu "seed to plate". Check out their plates HERE.
