JEWELER TO OPEN IN GLASTONBURY

We are hearing that the owners of Becker's Fine Diamonds & Jewelry will open a location in the former Glastonbury Jewelers which closed earlier this year. We have not yet confirmed if the new store will also be called Becker's. They currently have locations in West Hartford and Old Saybrook. Stay tuned for more details and an opening date!

The Scoop is expanding! We are now covering Avon and surrounding towns with the help of two awesome business owners in town. Michelle Beaule is a local CPA and owns Imagine Float in Avon. She is wife to Jean-Francois and a mom of four girls. She loves CrossFit, wellness, nature, and a good physical or mental challenge. Lauren Magel is a Hemp Wellness Advocate for Green Compass Global. She is married to Stefan. They are parents to two boys and a girl. Lauren loves being outdoors, a day at the beach, and everything in moderation. APOTHECO PHARMACY COMING TO BERTUCCI'S PLAZA

Also coming to the Bertucci's plaza is a new and unique business called Apotheco Pharmacy. It will be in the former guitar store between Birds Unlimited and the new jewelry store. This new concept business offers specialized care in dermatology providing the highest quality dermatological meds at lower costs. They are aiming to OPEN the first week of July.

ICYMI: SAYULITA ESSEX IS NOW OPEN AND GORG!

Everyone loves a good new restaurant story and this one has everyone over the top excited. In case you missed it...were you out of the country without phone service or something?...Sayulita opened location numero dos in the quaint little town of Essex near the shore. Aptly named, Sayulita Essex, the new location is larger, but offers the same delish food and drinks. We hear it's already hoppin'! Get there for a change of scenery.
