HERE’S THE SCOOP…
SAYBROOK HOME OPENING SOON AT 400 HEBRON AVENUE
The plaza at 400 Hebron went from nay to yay pretty darn quick, wouldn't you say?! We could not be more excited to announce the opening details of Saybrook Home! The high-end furniture and lifestyle store is opening their second location in the same plaza as Trader Joe's in Glastonbury. If you don't know about them or haven't had a chance to browse their shoreline shop, LISTEN UP GOOD my friends! Saybrook Home started decades ago in 1977 and has maintained a stellar reputation for both their impeccably crafted furniture that is MADE IN THE USA and their extensive interior design services! They continue to be a family-run business with the Bolles Family running the operation. They offer a line of house decor (luxury linens and elevated dishware), window treatments (Hunter Douglas), bedding & bath (new, custom line coming soon), and clothing (Agolde Denim, Lilly Pulitzer, Peter Millar, Patagonia, Southern Tide, Nic + Zoe and more). It's one of those stores that you walk into and want to stay FOREVER! Here are the OPENING DEETS: They hope to have a soft opening this Friday, the 27th, but we won't be able to confirm until Wednesday (follow us on social media for the announcement). Then, in a couple of weeks, they will host a giant GRAND OPENING with prizes you WON'T. WANT. TO. MISS! Check out a snippet of what they offer below.
TRADER JOE'S OPENING DATE
If this isn't the news of the century, we don't know what is! The opening of Trader Joe's Glastonbury location is finally near...years in the making! Hopefully there won't be too much hysteria on Opening Day: February 2nd at 8:00 AM. If you are a fan, should be a fun day with lots of excitement. If not...well...we suggest you steer clear of the area around 400 Hebron Avenue...K people?! But, most of all...let's have some fun! SEE. YOU. THERE.
NEW BOUTIQUE COMING TO S. GLASTONBURY
There is an ADORBS new boutique coming to South Glastonbury across from Sayulita. It will be in the former dry cleaners building. Thread by Thread Boutique is owned by Catey Himmelstein. The Manchester-resident has been doing pop-ups with her curated mix of USA Made and Fairtrade goods. She told us she walked into the space and knew it was the perfect spot for her to live her dream. A portion of all sales will go toward a different charitable organization every month. She plans to open sometime in February!
