MAGNET SCHOOL APPLICATIONS BEING ACCEPTED NOW

Kids aren't one size fits all and sometimes the traditional education route doesn't always work for everyone. That's where the Regional School Choice Office can help. They offer some incredible educational options for students in the Greater Hartford region from pre-K through grade 12 and they are currently accepting applications. OK...so what are we talking about here? Magnet Schools...families can choose from multiple specialized theme-based schools, including Aerospace & Engineering, International Studies, Science & Innovation, Arts, and MORE. These programs prepare students for college and career with a focus on their talents and interests (LOVE THAT!). And...they are FREE...all you have to do is apply! If you'd like to learn more, there is a School Choice Fair next Saturday, March 22nd from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sports & Medical Sciences School in Hartford (280 Huyshope Ave). OAK & IVORY PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO IS OPEN AND NOW BOOKING

This absolutely STUNNING new photography space on Main Street in Glastonbury is the stuff dreams are made of! Oak & Ivory Photography Studio is owned by two local photographers: Theresa of Willow Tree Photography and Amanda of A. Eve Photography. The two have a love for light, airy French country vintage aesthetic and that's what you will be treated to in their new studio. They offer studio rentals, photography workshops, creative photography parties, and mom's nights out. They are currently OPEN and booking for all of the above. PATTY CAKES UNDERGOING TOTAL RENO

Patty Cakes is CLOSED TEMPORARILY (we repeat: TEMPORARILY!!!!) for a total renovation. We could not be more excited about this since this little spot has literally looked like this since the 90's. Have you had their egg sandwiches? We are obsessed with their sausage, egg, and cheese - THE BEST!!! It will be tough to go without but we will keep you posted on their REOPEN date. They are hoping it takes about 6-weeks, but you know how these things go, so USE YOUR PATIENCE people! Looking forward to seeing the changes. They are still taking orders at their Rocky Hill location.

THE SCOOP INTRODUCES SOCIAL/PROMOTIONAL PACKAGE FOR SMALL BIZ

We are super pumped to announce a new collaboration with local designer and content creator, Dayna Duffy.
