HOME AUTOMATION WITH BENTLEY ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS
Imagine controlling everything in your house...heating and air conditioning, lighting, electric fireplaces, blinds, music, home entertainment...with the tap of a button from your phone? Or how about a brand new, high-tech home theater? Hmmmm, yes to all of this technology please! Bentley Electronic Systems offers full electronic updates to your home or office (smart home automation, WiFi, indoor and outdoor entertainment systems surveillance cameras, motorized shades). Owner, Bob Bentley, has been around for decades serving both residential and commercial customers. We love the story of how he started. His dad, Arthur, founded Bentley Radio Service in 1952 repairing house and car radios and phonographs. Bob learned from him and after stints with different jobs, Bob decided to go out on his own. Not only is Bob great at what he does, but he is also a great human. We recently did a GET TO KNOW LOCAL with him on social media and had multiple inbox messages telling us how much they love him and his work. How about that for a testimonial?! Check out his impressive new website HERE or see some of the projects he has completed below.

NEW DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL
This is big! Huge, in fact. Last week, the owners of multiple properties along Main Street across from the fountain revealed plans for a potential new development during a virtual pre-application meeting with the town. The plan proposes raising three buildings (The small plaza with The Mahogany Shop, the sunken building where Liquid Nirvana is currently located, and the building at street level with Cycling Concepts). They would be replaced with a new, mixed use development that includes apartments, retail, and restaurants. They still need to go through multiple steps before full approval and plan to take public comments into consideration before plans are finalized.
SPRINGFIELD'S FAMOUS STUDENT PRINCE OPENS W. HARTFORD LOCATION
Last week, Wurst Haus Student Prince West Hartford opened it's doors to the public. The German-style restaurant is located in the former McLadden's space on LaSalle Road. For fans of the original Student Prince (The Fort) in Springfield, MA, this is pretty exciting news! They will offer some of the same menu items from the Springfield location, including the Bavarian pretzels, Schnitzel, and Bratwurst. We can't wait to belly up to the bar and have a beer in a boot and some of their delicious food offerings! So excited!!
