DAVID BERTRAND OFFERS UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE ON FITNESS
We first met David Bertrand when one of his clients reached out to find out how she could help him get the word out about the unique way he is helping people look and feel better. The founder of Balance Fitness & Health in Manchester has built an incredibly different approach to fitness and helped countless clients over the course of 20 years. He started Balance in 2008 when he saw a need for more than just fitness. He wanted clients to optimize their workouts and make their bodies work more efficiently. David practices something called BioSignature Modulation (how specific hormones are responsible for body fat). This helps him individualize plans for his clients. He also uses specialized techniques to retrain muscles including muscle facilitation and soft tissue work. This is a game changer...he put us to the test and improved our squat in minutes!! SALON OPENING IN DERR PLAZA
A new hair salon is opening in the former coffee house space in Derr Plaza. This is across from Ken's Corner. The owners (Melissa & Jamie) of MANE & CO HAIR LOUNGE recently completed renovations to the interior space. It is absolutely GORG inside. We love the elevated natural vibe with wood floors, wicker swings for waiting clients, and a live plant wall at the back. This is the 2nd location for this dynamic duo. They also own AMANTi Salon on the Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield. They offer cuts, color, bayalage, and hand-tied hair extensions. THE BARN UPDATE
Renovations to the new co-working space The Barn are moving along. We recently toured the space and it looks incredible. Some of the features include reclaimed wood and recovered bricks from the old barn for the new patios. There will also be an Amazon Hub Locker. There are still spaces for rent ranging from $800-$1400 per month. Their target for opening is early August. Stay tuned!
