HERE’S THE SCOOP…
COMING SOON TO S. GLASTONBURY: COTTON HOLLOW KITCHEN
News is spreading quickly about what's happening with Figs in S. Glastonbury. The restaurant is now closed a year and a half after opening. A reliable source close to the situation told us Mark Conley, formerly the managing partner of Max Amore and Max Fish, is taking over the space. He will be opening a new restaurant with his wife, Joanne, called Cotton Hollow Kitchen that will focus on simple American fare. NOTHING IS FINAL YET, but we hear that a deal should be in place within the next couple of weeks (these things always take longer than everyone hopes). We are super excited about this and will keep you up to date!
COOL, NEW BREWERY COMING TO DOWNTOWN MANCHESTER
More exciting news for downtown Manchester! Urban Lodge Brewing Co. will open at 47 Purnell Place next Thursday, August 22nd. The owners have paid close attention to EVERY. SINGLE. GORGEOUS. detail with wood and metal signage, a stone patio (it's a straight up stunner) with a fire pit, beautiful wood pergola and a not-to-miss mural, painted by the talented street artist ARCY.
