HERE’S THE SCOOP…
DESIGNER EYE AND SUNGLASSES THAT WILL MAKE YOU SWOOOOOOOON!
If you have always worn glasses or need them now, but don't want to look old and haggard, WE UNDERSTAND YOU and WE GOT YOU! OculusDocs has been curating a selection of independent eyewear that will make you WANT to need glasses and they are having a trunk show so you can see and try them on! First, let's talk Dr. Jenny Cha: The Glastonbury mom-of-two opened her own practice, OculusDocs, in the Offices at Addison Square two years ago and has been helping people see and stay well through eyecare ever since (although she has been an eye doctor for decades). She is the kind of person you feel at ease and happy around and we think her eye and sunglass collection is fun with a little edge (just like her). OK...now let's talk glasses.
1. KREWE is an independent eyewear company out of New Orleans that offers unique and colorful patterns produced in small batches (you'll be one-of-a-kind). AND...they were recently featured on this season of The White Lotus (EXCUSE MOI!).
2. Blackfin is produced from Japanese Titanium (sounds kind of hot if you ask us) made by Italian artisans and was chosen as a symbol of Italian excellence at the 2024 G7 Summit. This independent eyewear company is known to be super durable and nearly weightless.
3 Etnia Barcelona is a line from Barcelona, Spain and stands out for their bright and patterned acetate. And...this is THE celeb line of choice spotted on Beyonce, Cate Blanchett, Gigi Hadid, Liam & Chris Helmsworth, and...BRAD PITT (If our buddy Brad is wearing it gents, YOU should be wearing it!).
OK...finally the real good stuff: TRUNK SHOW DEETS: April 25th from 3:00 to 7:00 PM | 25% off all frames with an extra 10% off if you come wearing one of the brands | GIVEAWAYS: 1 pair of Etina and 2 pairs of KREWE | First 50 guests get a cool goodie bag. Can't wait to SEE YOU THERE!!!

GIVE YOUR OWN SUPERHERO A SUNDAY TO REMEMBER WHILE GIVING BACK
We have the most treasured and adorable memories and photos of our kids as superheroes (their faves were Spiderman and Flash). Nothing better than feeling like you can do anything you put your mind to...something that kids going through treatment at Connecticut Children's very much need each and every day! To help support them and their families, there is a "can't miss" event in just a few weeks that your favorite superhero will LOVE. It's called Superhero Sunday hosted by Connecticut Children's Foundation and Ball 4 a Cure. This super special day includes all kinds of fun: cape and mask making, hero band making, face painting, and some cool superhero surprises (SO. MUCH. FUN!). It's all centered around their 5K, Kids Mile, and Community Bash on April 27th from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Their goal is to raise $100,000 that will go toward meeting the immediate medical, emotional, and social health care needs of patients and their families. Don't miss early bird pricing...TO REGISTER, click HERE.
