AWARD ROOFING'S TRANSPARENT, RELIABLE APPROACH...PLUS, A FANTASTIC NIGHT WITH THREAD BY THREAD BOUTIQUE IN SoG

HERE’S THE SCOOP…

EXTERIOR HOUSE PROJECT? WE GOT A GUY.

Award Roofing owner, Matt Tetreault is the real deal...super down to earth, easy to talk to, and committed to doing the absolute BEST for his customers. It's something we learned immediately when we met. Matt's GUARANTEE of being transparent and reliable in the way he does roof replacements or exterior home projects is something he takes very seriously. Matt and his team focus on residential roofing, siding, windows, and exterior doors. He also has vast knowledge and experience with high end homes installing slate, custom copper, cedar, and architectural shingles. Recently, he moved his roofing business to Glastonbury (58 Kreiger Lane) and offers customers the opportunity to see and feel products before making a decision about a roof. He and his team are certified installers working closely with major manufacturers and keeping up to date on all of the latest products and innovations within the roofing industry. And, Matt's 15-year workmanship warranty makes this all a no-brainer, right? FUN AND AMAZING FACT: His parents met at UConn and so did he and his wife! Who doesn't LOVE a HUSKY?! Call him 860.878.4268 or check out his website HERE.

NEW HEROES FIELD MONUMENT IS STUNNING

To all those who have served...THANK YOU! On this Veteran's Day, the town will honor veterans and members of the police and fire departments during a dedication of the new Heroes Field monument at Riverfront. It is a stunning tribute to our local men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving their community and country. Today's event starts at 12:00 PM.

WHAT A NIGHT AT THREAD BY THREAD IN S. GLASTONBURY!

ICYMI: We had the MOST amazing night of fun with a great group of gals at the South Glastonbury clothing boutique Thread by Thread (across from Sayulita). The Sip Into Sweater event included a debut of their late fall, early winter, and holiday lines! SO. MANY. CUTE. THINGS. Check out pics below and follow us on Insta HERE to see our social media reel of the night (coming soon!) OR...GET THERE and buy yo-self something HOT for the holidays!

"ELDERLY" HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PROPOSED FOR HEBRON AVE FARMSTAND

There is a new proposal going through the town process for a potential development at the former Rose's Berry Farm Stand on HEBRON AVENUE (this is NOT the South Glastonbury farm!!!). The Rose's Way plan includes 16 stand-alone units on 6+ acres and would be for "elderly" residents 62+. Now listen...we get it...62-year-olds do not want to be called elderly, but they classify 55 and older as "senior" and 62+ as "elderly". It's just how it's done people...we don't make the rules! Moving on...this development is separate from the solar panel farm which has been approved for a portion of that property as well. Check out renderings and a map of the plan below.
