A BETTER APPROACH TO ADULT DAYCARE
Nazila and Eleonora Tatashdze are changing the landscape of adult daycare for those with dementia or alzheimer's. The mother-daughter duo have created a homey, comforting space for family members to bring their loved ones and have peace of mind while they are there. Rocky Hill Adult Day Center is just 15 minutes from Glastonbury and offers some incredible services. Arts and crafts, music, exercise, showers, a hairdresser, meals, a pickup service...whatever your parent or family member needs...they provide. Staff treat them like family...so kind...so understanding...so loving. They are the warmest, sweetest people. Did you know it's more affordable then home care and helps improve well-being? Call them 860.372.4656 for a FREE day to see if it fits your family...we guarantee it will!

NEW OASIS FOR SELF-CARE COMING TO GLASTONBURY/EAST HARTFORD LINE
There is a new little gem of a place coming to the old Shampoo One spa space on Main Street in East Hartford. Just Be is a mini self-care retreat where you will be able to take some time out of your day to REPLENISH. RESTORE. RENEW. This genius idea came to Liz Kametz while she was overloaded with stress and trying to find some relief nearby. (We can relate!) She brought on her partner, Adrienne Gervais, and the two created this unique business. The space is currently being renovated. When they open this April (in time for the spring solstice...how perfect?) they will offer foot soaks, tea ceremonies, a meditation room, an infrared sauna, heat therapy, reiki, massage...a place for complete and utter relaxation. Sounds OM-mazing.
*Our next herSPACE event will be at the SOON-TO-BE Just Be, February 13th at 6:30 PM. Don't miss our night on MONEY MINDSET!
CHAIN RETAILER LEAVES SOMERSET SQUARE
Victoria's Secret abruptly closed it's doors last Thursday. The chain retailer has been in The Shops at Somerset for many years. There was no announcement about the closure and by Friday morning merchandise was being moved onto a tractor trailer to be shipped out to other locations. Somerset management told us they do not comment on retail closures. A Victoria's Secret source told us they were slated to close in March anyway.
LOCAL BOUTIQUE OPENS ONLINE SHOP

You will also get FREE shipping on orders of $75 or more. Check out their home page below and don't miss their Valentine's Day offerings when we feature them in The Scoop Valentine's Day List coming February 10th!
